Shanghai is China's largest commercial and financial centre and is considered by many to be the gateway into China. Lu Jiazui 陆家嘴
On the eastern bank of the Huangpu River, Luijiazui is the core of Shanghai’s commercial and business community and features three of the world most outstanding examples of modern architecture.
Yuyuan Garden 豫园
This famous classical garden located on Anren Jie, in the heart of the old city of Shanghai. This five acre site is a mass of pavilions, halls, rock gardens and ponds are each unique.
The Bund 外滩
Shanghai’s waterfront was once considered amongst the worlds most ostentatious. Decades of prosperity brought international bankers, hoteliers and trading houses to this stretch of the Huangpu River, and their successes led to commissions for some of the world’s finest architectural firms.
Nanjing Road 南京路
China's most famous shopping street stretches 3.4-miles from the Bund in the east to Jing an Temple in the west. The eastern section of Nanjing road is nearly completely off limits to traffic and one of the world’s busiest streets.
