ChinaSpringTour’s ￥99 Daytripper series is heading to Qingpu at the end of September. Come with us to explore Shanghai’s leafy fringe.

Bordering both Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, Qingpu is now part of Shanghai’s outer limit, but it was once a separate walled town with a rich and colourful history. Visitors will have a chance to see some of the local relics and landmarks, whilst also enjoying some traditional delicacies unique to the area. Zongzi, Sticky rice cake and Sliced Lotus Root with Sweet Sauce can all be sampled during the tour or as part of the inclusive lunch.
