￥99 Daytripper series features trips for under 100RMB to various scenic spots in areas around Shanghai. Departing to different destinations early on the third Saturday of each month, Daytripper tours are purely focused on sightseeing, with no shopping trips incorporated into the itinerary. Price includes lunch and all admission fees listed in the itinerary.

Situated around the shores of the expansive Tai Hu Lake, Wu Xi is a 3000 year old city with a rich history of trade empires and political intrigue. This tour introduces travellers to some of the fine crafts that made this city a financial and cultural capital of the region, whilst also enjoying the beautiful natural landscape of the area. At Turtle Head Isle, visitors can walk out along the peninsula and look out upon the vastness of this city by the lake.

Trip Highlights:
• Visit the Wuxi Clay Figure Factory in Huishan Ancient Town to learn about the ancient craft of clay sculpting, one of Wuxi’s famed specialties. Visitors will also get to make their own clay figurine, which will be dried in time for you to take home at the end of the visit.
• Visit Turtle Head Isle, the slender peninsula that juts out into Tai Hu Lake just like a turtle craning its neck, including a ferry ride across the lake to the holy island of San Shan.
