No cases of the Influenza A (formerly known as swine flu) strain have been reported in mainland China, ChinaSpringTour learns from media sources. The announcement comes after a passenger who boarded a connecting flight from Shanghai to Hong Kong was found to have contracted the virus.
The passenger was travelling from Mexico and transferred in Shanghai before heading on to Hong Kong. Other passengers who were on the Shanghai bound flight have been tested and found not to have contracted the disease.
ChinaSpringTour would like to assure travellers that they will be updated as soon as possible if any new information becomes available.
