Shanghai-Nanjing trains may accept city travel cards

Passengers on high-speed trains between Shanghai and Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, might be able to use Shanghai-city transport cards to pay the fare.

Shenaghi travel cards are commonly used to ride on the city's Metro, Busses and taxi cabs. The high-speed route, scheduled to start operations on July 1, is currently undergoing test runs. The line has a terminal at Shanghai's newly opened Hongqiao Transport Hub.
