4th of July in Shanghai

Americans living in or visiting Shanghai on Independence Day 2009 will be glad to hear there will be plenty of opportunity to get a taste of the USA.

The American Chamber of Commerce will hold a day-long celebration at Le Meridien She Shan Shanghai at 1288 Linyin Xin Road from 2pm to 9pm. Entrance fee is 300 RMB for chamber members and 350 RMB for non-members.

Elsewhere, Bubba’s Texas-style BBQ joint will be turning up the heat with a music, a golf tournament and, of course, a king-size grill laden with all- American favourites. Festivities run from the evening of July 3 and all day on the fourth.
