One of the things that I want to mention is The Great Wall of China. Just think, it’s long enough to stretch one and a half times across the United States and took millions of men to create and build. We had a work out just to climb up to a few towers and our efforts to climb that small portion were significant, but you realize it was nothing in comparison to the work that it took to create this massive wonder of the world. The view from the upper peaks was worth the climb; you could see for miles. The breathtaking mountain landscape swallowed up the Great Wall and caused it to fade in the distance. The panorama put into perspective God's abilities to create such a phenomenal world, where one of the greatest works of man seemed to go quietly unnoticed into the rolling peaks and valleys of the great mountains. It’s a moment in time that you just want to let it all soak in, as your eyes gaze over this awesome site.

What an experience of a life time and an education we were given with our trip to China! We witnessed several wonderful, traditional crafts done by the Chinese people. A couple of the talents we were fortunate to be educated on, were the art of silk production and the creative art of tapestry and carpet weaving. All their beautiful work was done with great pride. Some of the fine tapestries and rugs may have taken months or years to complete. The appreciation that you will gain from these experiences is priceless!

Thank you so much for your request. It was an honor to have you accompany us on the trip to China, a trip of a lifetime! Roland and I had such a great time I don't even know where to start. First, let me say that the tour guides Chrissie and Jeffrey were great. Their knowledge about China was excellent. Because of their understanding of China we have become a bit more knowledgeable about a country that we now have great respect for that we knew nothing about before we arrived. China was awesome from the Great Wall to the shops of Shanghai, everything was so exciting. The culture, the architecture of their buildings, the food, the acrobatic dancers, the Mongolian dancers at the birthday party for Lauri Tomer was fantastic. Their language and dialect was absolutely amazing.

This was definitely a trip of a lifetime. I strongly believe that everyone living in the States should visit China before they leave this world. My perception of China was changed immediately as we stepped from the Plane. The weather was beautiful, a little cold, but so invigorating. The welcome we received from Spring International was awesome, I truly felt like royalty. It was truly a red carpet event. Then there was the reception, where we got a chance to meet the Chairman and President of Spring International. Wow, that was history in the making; to witness two major companies in their own right coming together was truly a Kodak moment. Roland and I truly feel blessed to have taken part in such a great event. Let's not forget my favorite site, the Forbidden City! Wow, what rich history it possesses. We loved and enjoyed every moment of our trip, including the happy room which is better known as the bathroom. WOW, I can’t help but say it over and over again, because it truly explains what a wonderful time my husband and I had in China. Finally, the men of the hour, Mr. Joe Jarvies and Jason Tseng, thank you so much for all that you did to make our trip to China a remarkable one. Your accuracy with our paperwork, meaning mine (smile) thanks. Your knowledge about China was dynamite. You even took time to shop with us, wow, that was fun. When I was a little girl, my brother told me if I dug deep enough in our front yard, I would get to China. I tried a few times, but found the Pennsylvania farmland was too rocky, and I just couldn't make it. I could only read books about China and dream of how it might be. But then, I had the incredible opportunity to go there, to meet the people, to see the sights, and to experience the culture. It was a dream come true! I’m so grateful to Spring Tours for organizing such a memorable trip. I will never forget the Forbidden City, the climb up the Great Wall, the rickshaw ride through the hutongs of Beijing, the boat ride on West Lake, the street vendors, and the views of the skyscrapers of Shanghai. Nor will I ever forget the competent medical care I received at an English-speaking hospital while in China. During the trip, I would often pause just to savor the experience of being there! I would think, "Here I am! I’m in China, isn’t this amazing!" I do not believe this will be my only trip to China! I want to return with my family and friends! Tzeiwei

My second time to China and I can’t wait to go back to Beijing for the Olympics in August 2008. China is an emerging country loaded with history and culture that is jam packed with things to do and places to see. While in Shanghai this last time I discovered a sector of English speaking people from around the world that numbered over 600 thousand, just in Shanghai alone. The river cruise was one of my highlights, to see the hundreds of skyscrapers with lights that illuminated the city of Shanghai with its beautiful western architecture. “WOW”. The Great Wall was fantastic, climbing all the way to the top with only a hand full of people from the group. The 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed in were excellent. In the resort city of Hangzhou after a long day of sightseeing we were able to relax with a full body massage that lasted for three hours, cost about $15 U.S. including tip. “The 9 Day Taste of China” is a first time must!!!
