Reservations

In order to make a reservation, please send an email or submit the reservation form.

Deposit

• 1.  If you book a tour 35 days in advance of the scheduled departure date, a deposit of 10% of the total tour cost is required.  *Please note that this  deposit will count toward the full payment. 
• 2.  If you book a tour within 35 days before the scheduled departure date, payment in full is required.

Final Payment

• 1. If you book a tour 35 days in advance of the scheduled departure date, a deposit of 10% of the total tour cost is required and full payment should be made 25 days in advance of the scheduled departure date.  *Please note that if the final payment is not received 25 days before the scheduled departure date, reservations will be cancelled and deposits will be forfeited.
• 2. If you book a tour within 35 days before the scheduled departure date payment in full is required.

Methods of Payment

We are now able to offer four methods of payment:

• Online payment via PayPal
• Visa, Master Card, or American Express
• Wire transfer.
• Cash payment, travelers' check and company check are applicable upon special request. Personal checks are not accepted. 

Cancellations

We understand that you may have to cancel your trip to China, so our measures ensure that you may do this with the minimum amount of fuss.

In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to China Spring Tours (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

For standard tour packages, the cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

• For cancellations made 35 days prior to departure date: 10% of the tour price will be assessed but may be taken as credit for use within the next 18 months.
• For cancellations made 15-34 days prior to departure date: 10% of tour price will be assessed.
• For cancellations made 8-14 days prior to departure date: 20% of tour price will be assessed.
• For cancellations made 3-7 days prior to departure date: 30% of tour price will be assessed.
• For cancellations made 0-2 days prior to departure date: 50% of tour price will be assessed.

For Yangtze River Cruise Package, the total tour price is divided into two parts: The total off-boat service price (flight ticket, hotel fee, ferry terminal transport fee and sight-seeing charges and so on) and cruise ticket. The cancellation fee for each part will be calculated separately:

1. For cancellations made 35 days prior to departure date:
   • Tour penalty fee：10% of the tour price will be assessed but may be taken as credit for use within the next 18 months.
   • Cruise penalty fee：RMB 500 per person.
2. For cancellations made 15-34 days prior to departure date:
   • Tour penalty fee：10% of tour price will be assessed.
   • Cruise penalty fee：20% of the ticket price.
3. For cancellations made 8-14 days prior to departure date:
   • Tour penalty fee：20% of tour price will be assessed.
   • Cruise penalty fee：50% of the ticket price.
4. For cancellations made 3-7 days prior to departure date:
   • Tour penalty fee：30% of tour price will be assessed.
   • Cruise penalty fee：100% of the ticket price.
5. For cancellations made 0-2 days prior to departure date:
   • Tour penalty fee：50% of tour price will be assessed.
   • Cruise penalty fee：100% of the ticket price.

For Yangtze River Cruise Ship booking only, the cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

1. For cancellations made 35 days prior to departure date: RMB500 per person.
2. For cancellations made 15-34 days prior to departure date: 20% of the cruise ticket price.
3. For cancellations made 8-14 days prior to departure date: 50% of the cruise ticket price.
4. For cancellations made 0-7 days prior to departure date: 100% of the cruise ticket price.

Travelers leaving the cruise after it has commences will be unable to apply for a refund for unused services, flights and accommodation.

Health

Each tour participant must be responsible for the condition of his or her own health and must decide whether he or she is fit to travel.  Those with existing medical conditions must get approval from their doctor beforehand.  Spring Travel assumes no legal responsibility for participants' health problems. Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have.

Luggage Allowance

In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, free baggage allowance within China is 20 kg for economy class, 30 kg for business class, and 40 kg for first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage fees are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
Spring Airlines Luggage Allowance Rules and Regulations
1. Each passenger has a free baggage allowance of 15 kilograms, which includes checked baggage and carry-on baggage.  An additional fee for overweight baggage is calculated as 1.5% of the economy class ticket fare per kilogram.
2. Each passenger is allowed to take aboard one baggage only, weighing less than 5 kilograms with a volume not exceeding 20cmx30cmx40cm.  Any overweight or oversize baggage should be checked.

Insurance

China Spring Tour highly recommends that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin.  If you are interested in more information on where you are able to buy travel insurance, please contact China Spring Tour and we will be happy to assist you.

Complaints and Claims

If you feel unsatisfied in any way with the service that China Spring Tour has provided on your tour, immediately notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor so that we can resolve the issue and avoid the potential for similar problems to recur during your trip.

You must inform us by fax, email, or regular mail in writing within 14 days from the end of your tour in the event of a complaint or claim for compensation. China Spring Tour will not be liable for any claims made later than 14 days after the completion of your tour.  Please attach any relevant receipts and/or substantiating evidence to the letter of claim.

Responsibilities:

• China Spring Tour is responsible for the implementation of tour arrangements on www.chinaspringtour.com including transportation, sightseeing, accommodations, and services from local suppliers.
• China Spring Tour is not responsible for any loss or expenses incurred due to delay or changes of schedule caused by weather, political situation, natural disaster, epidemics, war, criminal activities, or any other circumstances not in its control.  All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the group members jointly.  If the remainder of a tour schedule must be cancelled for any of the abovementioned reasons, unused charges for meals, accommodation, and entrance fees will be refunded on the basis of the tour fare.  China Spring Tour reserves the right to alter or to adjust the itinerary in order to protect the interests of its clients.
• China Spring Tour is not responsible for the rejection of entry by immigration or customs officers, even if a tour participant holds a valid passport with proper visas.  Foreign officials and reporters may not join the Tibet tour.
• Regarding safety and security when traveling, carriers, hotels, bus companies, and other suppliers are responsible for the resolution of any problems that may arise.  China Spring Tour shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers.
• China Spring Tour reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure.  If China Spring Tour has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, China Spring Tour is liable for a full refund of the money received by China Spring Tour.
• Many of China Spring Tour's tour packages include activities that require attention.  Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves, etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. ChinaSpringTour , its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
• China Spring Tour is not responsible for the theft or lost of any customer's valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
• Each tour participant must hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
